IN THE BEGINNING
ORENDA was a peaceful land. Ruled by the sun and moon. Cats came together to celebrate festivals, enjoy each other's company and show one another the wonders of life. It was a time to be alive, though not all could stay that way. Visitors arrived, seemingly overnight. But these visitors were not of the normal sort. They brought with them...magic. And while many were curious, other were wary. However, these visitors had one thing in common with the cats of Orenda, Brilliants. While they were certainly different, the Brilliants were the same. And through many meetings, it was found that the strange cats were of no harm to the cats of Orenda, and they were allowed to stay. Moons passed and the numbers of cats with magic seemed to increase as more kits were born. Though none of it seemed directly related to whether or not the parents held any sort of magical abilities and rather blessed most of the kits with a magic of their own. This did not sit well with all, and soon rifts were formed within the community. These rifts would cause cats to separate, large gatherings to no longer be held, and battles to take place. In the end of it all, cats seemed to go one of two ways, magic or no magic.
Eclipseclan was formed first. A clan against the magic of the visitors, though more commonly known as 'strangers' to this group of cats.
Solarclan formed second, a group devoted solely to those who were gifted with the magic bestowed upon the visitors and those born with it. Solarclan also welcomed the families of magic cats, even if they were non-magic.
The two clans lived together peacefully for the most part, avoiding each other as necessary and putting as much space between one another as they could. The lands of Orenda lived in a strange vibe. Not quite peaceful, and not quite hostile. This went on for many moons, before another clan was formed.
Lunarclan became the third clan, a branch off from Solarclan. Lunarclan was formed as tensions ran high in Solarclan....with Solarclan's new chief deciding that they were a clan of pure magic. Cats born without magic, or just simply without it were 'unwelcome'.
Lunarclan prided themselves on a group of diversity. And took residence in the forest that laid between Solarclan's beach and Eclipseclan's mountain.
100 moons have passed since the forming Lunarclan, with time changing many of the aspects that caused problems so long ago.

ECLIPSECLAN
Founded on the principals of 'no magic is good magic' , Eclipseclan has much to learn. While they are considered the 'first clan' they are not the only oldest clan(sharing that title with Solar). Eclipseclan cats tend to have rather large egos, though there are a few that break the mold.
As moons have passed, Eclipseclan has shifted to include magic cats, though they are often times 'shunned' or viewed as 'outsiders' in their own clan. Many cats are eager to see the future of Eclipseclan as they are currently led by a cat with magic.

SOLARCLAN
Solarclan was originally formed with all cats in mind. Though they quickly seemed to change to show their true colors. Magic was more important than family matters to these cats, and ultimately that belief was what led cats to leave and form a clan of their own. Solarclan cats are rather stuck up, though they tend to be very loyal and friendly towards eachother.
Many are eager to see if Solarclan's new Chief can fix inner relationships that were hurt by the old Chief.

LUNARCLAN
Lunarclan is the baby of the clans, though have enough moons underneath of it's formation that many consider it a proper clan. These cats pride themselves on their diversity and are rather accepting of all cats. However, they have been burned by this in the past, and some are eager to see whether or not their new Chief will be more weary of strangers or continue to have an open door policy.
