A long-furred brown tabby she-cat with pale green eyes.
Detailed: Bramblestar is a tabby she-cat with a small frame and broad shoulders. Her small size, however, does not take away from her strength, as strong muscles ripple underneath her soft fur. Her pelt is dusty brown in color, marred with darker stripes. Her underbelly, chin, and paws take on an almost-caramel shade, and her muzzle is tinged with white. Her eyes are pale green, and her stare can be either welcoming or intimidating. Her ears sit slightly larger than average on her head, whereas her paws are a little on the small side. Both her nose and her paw pads are raw pink. She has a distinctive vee-shaped nick in her right ear.

- Born to Honeybriar and Alderfoot during a harsh leaf-bare
- Sibling Branchkit did not survive greencough
- Was not born with elemental powers, disheartened her a bit as she wanted to prove that powers weren't a bad thing
- Received warrior training from her mentor, Sunpoppy
- Was given the name Brambleshade due to her pelt color and stealth
- Received her first apprentice, Shrewpaw, at 18 moons of age
- Has mentored three cats: Shrewflower, Windpoppy, and Quailfrost
- Became mates with Whitetail and had two kits: Branchpetal and Sorrelwhisker
- Whitetail ended up leaving her for another she-cat, leaving her heartbroken
- Resolved to train as hard as possible to get over her grief
- Her efforts were noticed by her Clan and, when the previous Guard became Chief, she was chosen to be the next Guard
